Does Marketo Support Gifs?

We'd like to embed a gif into an email blast, does anyone know for sure if Marketo supports gifs?

Hi Andrea,

Here's a list of client support for animated GIFs in email -- fortunately they are pretty widely supported among modern clients with the notable exception of Outlook 2007/2010, which will display only the first frame.

Hey Andrea,

Marketo supports using the .gif format. However, most email clients will not display animation of any kind in Email, including outlook and Gmail, so animations will not be displayed from these files if sent to a recipient without a supporting client.
