Does Marketo include a blogging platform?

Not exactly - but you could easily mimic blog functionality leveraging templates and the Marketo landing pages - then you can easily manage subscriptions, sharing, etc.

While not something typical like WordPress, it is quite capable. Probably worth doing a needs assessment on features/functions, how often you intend to post and who will be doing the work, etc. then make a call from there.

Great, thanks Clinton. I couldn't find any tutorials on setting up a blog so I assumed it might need a different approach. 

Knowing this now, we'll probably set up our blog in our CMS and then hopefully integrate it with Marketo from there.

Our blog is on wordpress, and we send marketo emails to the subscribers which has part of the blog entry and a link to the blog.  The blog page has a marketo form to capture new subscribers.  It works for us.
