Difference between Send Sample & Send Test

In the email actions drop down we have the options, 'send sample' and 'send test'. Does anyone have the detailed clarification between these two options?

Hi Vaishali,
Send Test was replaced by Send Sample a couple releases ago and you should no longer have the option to Send Test. Does this occur across multiple browsers?

There is a "New Test" button that will create an A/B test based on that email. Is the button you a seeing different than that?

Yeah that's strange, I only see Send Sample on my instance.

I meant to say  'New Test' instead of, 'Send Test' and needed further clarification on what is this option called, 'New Test' and how is it different from 'Send Sample'.
