Demographic Lead Scoring - High, Mid, Low Value Tokens

Hi,

When setting up demographic lead scoring campaigns the default tokens for industry, job title etc smart lists are High Value, Mid Value and Low Value.

Where do you actually define which industries (or job titles etc) you want included in the High Value Industry segment, which are Mid Level Industries and so on?

Thanks,

Chad

Re: Demographic Lead Scoring - High, Mid, Low Value Tokens

Hi Chad,

You can do this on the flow step of the smart campaign. You should see the option for "add choice". If you're importing the scoring program, the "add choice" options may already be there for you. You would just say "If industry is Software, Retail or Finance", then score {high value token}.

Hope that helps!

Re: Demographic Lead Scoring - High, Mid, Low Value Tokens

Thanks for the reply Vivi,

Your suggestion is helpful, especially for campaigns in which there are only a few Job Titles (for example) that you want to include in your flow step. However it seems there is a way to assign a number of job titles to each of the High Value, Mid Value, and Low Value blocks. This way, you need only select the High Value block in the flow step and this automatically assigns that score change to all job titles within that block (which ideally we can specify). I would like to find the steps needed to define the job titles within each block.

Thanks again!

Re: Demographic Lead Scoring - High, Mid, Low Value Tokens

Hi Chad,

With the way you're describing, it seems that you may wish to make three smart campaigns to score job titles - High Value, Mid Value and Low Value. In the Smart List, just use Job Titles (or data value changes, if you want it to be a trigger) and then put in any and all job titles that are of high value to your organization. Then, in the flow step, add points to their lead score as necessary.

You would repeat that to create the mid value and low value job title scoring campaigns. Additionally, you could do a scoring campaign for job titles that you do not want to work with and suppress their score.

I hope this helps!
