Custom field support for Marekto Objects

Hi,

I am able to create the custom field from Marketo UI but it only generate for Lead objects. We are assuming that it will create for the objects which has describe APIs for ex: Opportunity, Company, Lead

Could you please let us know,

1. Which are the Marekto objects supports custom fields?

2. Are there any APIs for custom field creation

Hi Deepali Ahirrao​,

You cannot currently change the list of fields for accounts, nor opportunity for the moment.

You can only add fields to the lead object, as well as to recently released Marketo Custom Objects (see Marketo Custom Objects - Marketo Docs - Product Docs )

Check with support I believe they can create fields for you on the opportunity or Account level.

There is not way to create fields (metadata) via the API.
