Create SFDC task when sending Marketo email

Hi there! Our sales team is measured by creating SFDC tasks such as sending a SFDC email to the prospects. I would like them to move away from sending SFDC emails to Marketo ones instead. Is there a way to log a SFDC task for sending a Marketo email?

Sorry I realized that I it's not a task, but creating a SFDC activity for sending a Marketo email. Not sure if there is a SFDC worklfow that can be used when Marketo email is sent via outlook or sales insight, log a activity that the email was sent from Marketo instead of SFDC. Is there a way to do this?

Yes in your workflow you can use the "Create Task" option. In your Smart list you could just look for a MSI or email sent.
