Conversions vs. New Names

I pulled a report to help us understand the conversion rate and an additional column of "New Names" populated as well but had different numbers as "conversions". What is the difference between the two? If we have 51 conversions and 38 new names, does that mean that 38 people are new customers and the other 13 are people we already had in our database as customers? Thanks!

Hi,

What report did you pull?  If it was the Landing Page Report, then yes, you had 51 people come to the landing page and 'convert' (which normally means fill in a form), of those 51 people 38 weren't previously in your database, so they are new to you.
