Consistent AB test target groups

Hi

We ran an AB split test for entire emails last week testing a new email template vs. the old one. We want to run it again for another 3 weeks, but want to ensure the same recipients are delivered the A & B email, respectively. Is there any way we can guarantee each lead will receive the same email template over the 4 weeks we are running the test?

Hi MItch,

You can create 2 smart lists using the "was sent email" filter with a"Test variant" constraint that will enable to know who was sent email A or B:

Then, you will continue sending each template to each smart list, but you will have to do this through regular email send, not A/B test built in feature.

You can also add people to a static list based on the criteria from Greg above, if they were sent email A or B which will speed up your future sends slightly.
