Communication Limit in Marketo

Hi does anyone have answer for this.

1. When we setup communication limit in Marketo to 2  emails a day, what happens if there was 3 email sent out that day to this specific lead. Will they receive 2 on the same day and the next one on next day ?
or
Only 2 and that is it ? How is priority being set for this communication as to which needs to have higher priority, e.g. operational etc.

Please advice.

Hi Bamah,

They would receive the first two emails, not the third. If these are email programs or smart campaigns sending the emails, you do have the option to override the limits but I'd just make sure that non-operational emails are blocked when you set these up.

Priority is by send time -- Marketo runs through what you have in queue and that's how it judges the limits. Operational emails will still deliver.
