The company I work for is shortly going to change it's brand, so I'm in the process of amending all email templates etc. I understand that engagement programs will not allow the same email to be sent more than once to each lead, but as I'm changing the templates I'm going to need to recreate each nurture mail, and as these will be then be 'new' emails - albeit with exactly the same text as the previous ones, I guess that the engagement program will happily resend them.
Has anyone else been through this? Whats the easiest way to ensure that people dont receive the entire nurture stream again? Any help gratefully received.
Thanks

Hi Robert - why not just update the old templates with the new look? Keeps you from having to make any other adjustments.
Hi Lauren
Thanks for your reply. Really helpful. Please take a look at my full reply on the thread.
Thanks again & happy new year
No problem, Robert! We've done this twice already and are actually working through a third iteration right now. Best of luck!
What Lauren said is the way you should do the brand refresh. There's no need to go through the hassle of deleting the old email and creating a completely new one.
If you replace the HTML at the template level with your newly branded HTML, you would simply need to go to the email asset and reapprove it (after email QA of course). It's status in the engagement program will still be remembered because the email ID is the same.
Perfect, thanks for your input. I hadn't realised I could change the template and that it would auto update emails based on it (for some reason I thought that each email was created as a single html - incorporating that of the template - when it was created. Obviously not the case.)
Thanks very much
