Champion Challenger & A/B email testing

I am so excited about these features and have only used a few Champion Challenger tests so far. I like how you declare a winner at the end and all of the pretty charts that show up.

My question to those others of you using these features: How do you plan on collecting and storing all of this data from different tests so you can put these findings into play? And is there some new Marketo feature or report that can collect all of the tests in one spot?

Thanks!

Re: Champion Challenger & A/B email testing

Hi Kim! I definitely have the same question. I'm not able to pull the kind of reporting that I'd like to with the A/B testing or champion challenger. If you find more information, I'd love to hear it.

Best of luck!

HI Kim/Lead M,

Can you tell me more about hte type of reporting you want?  Are you trying to compare different tests?  What is the purpose of doing so?

Thanks,
Cheryl

Re: Champion Challenger & A/B email testing

Hey Cheryl,

Mostly I was asking just for others' opinions and best practices on what they will do with all of these results and how they organize them.

But along those same lines I was curious if there was somewhere in Marketo that we could house all of the testing results. Say I am testing subject lines in different programs and emails but same type of criteria, it'd be nice to have a report or table where all related results are kept. Or else they'll get lost in different programs and archives, etc.? Just brainstorming.

Thanks!

Re: Champion Challenger & A/B email testing

Hi there,

Just a comment about the Champion/Challenger test.

When trying it for the first time it is a bit confusing that the window "Champion" is already populated - i.e., the whole point of doing the test is to select a champion. Few articles later you realise that champion in that context is just the original email.

Maybe it could be called Default instead or something else? Current setup doesn't take away the awesomeness of the feature, but maybe a new name could help new users.

Cheers,

Rei

How can we see the results from A/B testing in the Email Performance report?

Re: Champion Challenger & A/B email testing

It is not possible at this time.  To see your results, you will need to view the email dashboard in the email program.
