Great to see this frequently requested feature make it into the product! This has been a long time in coming and I'm excited to see it realised in the product.

Some quick questions.

1. It seems to me that you can not add this token as a link to text or images. We have a calendar icon which is linked to the calendar file. Should I create a new idea for this?

2. Can you add HTML/images to the calendar file? We currently copy our confirmation email, including formatting & images, to our calendar files. Is/Will this be supported?

I do not see an issue with tokens created at the program level.  Do you have a support ticket?

I created them at the Program level. Good to know that only the description area supports tokens.

Were your tokens created at the folder level?  If so, yes and it will be patched.  Also, tokens are only supported in the description area of the Edit Calendar File modal.  It looks like you may have put them in the subject line also.

You can use an image instead of the text.  Where the text "Save the Date" is written, replace with

Amber, Marketo not handling special characters properly is a separate issue that has affected email addresses with apostrophes and filters.  Please vote for the Idea I submitted for this.

We just did a test. Cloning the webinar template fails. Delete the Calendar file, Now it can be cloned. Add the calendar file back and it fails again. It might not be global, but it is affecting us.

There is an overall problem with ICS files that Marketo support is looking into (I've been added to a larger ticket). It may be affecting all of these other issues. I have cloned campaigns with ICS files in the emails.

Another thing is that I cannot include text currently that has an apostrophe or quotes in the calendar email. In Outlook, it keeps coming up as all kinds of funky text for any time I use those. Our standard text would contain several of these. I find myself rewording everything...you'll is you will.... but it makes it difficult when I should have "your computer's speakers"

Also, I'm pretty sure that you can't clone a campaign that contains a Calendar link. I added a calendar file to our webinar template and now you can't clone the template.

It looks like tokens are not resolving right now; I've logged a case with support. Here's a screenshot from some of my testing this weekend: http://cl.ly/image/0m0M263J3434.

1. I would create an idea for this as I don't believe it can be done using the current setup. Try setting up a link on the image with the url {{my.Save the Date}} (or whatever your Calendar File token is named) and let us know.
2. I don't think HTML will be supported, as the dialog is only a textarea field.

Can you make the image a link like they show how to add the "Forward to a Friend" token to a link?
