Ad a new employee to an existing company

I have the problem, that if I would like to ad a new employee to an existing company that already has several other employees, I always have to fill out all data for the new person and of the company also (eg telephonenumbers, adress, e-mail etc.) so that it takes very long to create a new contact-entry.

Is there a possibility to copy an existing contact and change only the personal data (eg. e-mail, phonenumber, etc.) afterwards?

To use a .csv file is under this curcumstances probably the best way to get the data into the system.

Unfortunatly we don´t use Salesforce or any CRM Tool at this time.

Marketo should see this as an proposal for improvement ;-).

Are you using Salesforce or and other CRM? In that case you would only have to create a new contact (or lead) and attach it to the already existing account. Within a few minutes this would reflect in Marketo too. Else I would use Cecile's suggestion.

As far as I'm aware you cannot clone a lead. If this isn't a one-off action, I would suggest you either import list with all the fields filled (you can duplicate leads/lines in .csv file) or create a change data flow for each of the fields you want. But that's only worth it if you have more than 2-3 leads to create.
