Starting September 25, 2025, Adobe Admin Console (AAC) will support IP-based access for user login. This enhancement enables customers currently using Marketo Engage’s legacy IP restrictions to begin migrating to Adobe Identity Management System (IMS).

To ensure a smooth transition, Marketo Engage’s legacy IP restrictions will remain active through Q1 2026, giving teams time to adjust to differences between the legacy feature and AAC’s new capabilities. This phased approach is designed to minimize disruption and support a seamless onboarding experience.

For questions, please contact Adobe Support or your Adobe representative.

Phase 1: Post-Release Enablement (Mid-October 2025)

  • Existing Marketo Engage IP restrictions will continue to function and apply to Adobe IMS users.
  • The IP access/block list in the Marketo Engage Admin area will remain available to existing customers with this feature enabled.
  • No action is required - your current configuration will apply automatically.
  • You may begin setting up AAC IP-based access at any time. Both Marketo Engage and AAC restrictions can be active simultaneously and work complimentarily.
  • If using AAC IP-based access, IP addresses must be configured in CIDR format.

Phase 2 – Full Transition to AAC (Target: Q1 2026)

  • The IP access/block list in the Marketo Admin area will be disabled, and legacy IP restrictions will no longer function.
  • IP-based access will be managed exclusively through AAC and must be configured to enforce user login restrictions.
  • A finalized transition date will be shared once available.
