Canto, a market leader in the digital asset management industry, is seeking a dynamic marketing leader to drive the go-to-market success of our Flight product. Flight is Canto’s exciting new SaaS offering that has been successful in its first year and a half in the market with over 200 customers. The Director of Digital Marketing and Demand Generation will act in a player/coach role in building further awareness for Flight and turbocharging inbound lead activity.
Successful candidates will have a strong background in digital marketing and demand generation, are systems-thinkers, and have had experience overseeing marketing processes and budgets. Marketing experience with SaaS technology companies a must, as is the ability to plan, implement, assess and report on the success of initiatives. This position is based in Canto’s downtown San Francisco office and the expectation is that the successful candidate will work full-time in the office

You have at least 6 years of experience in marketing operations, demand generation, or digital marketing leadership roles. You are a highly motivated, results-driven leader with entrepreneurial drive and a strong track record of success. In previous roles you gained valuable experience leading teams. Colleagues are impressed by your excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as your attention to detail. You have the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts so that they are comprehensible by business users.
Importantly, you must be comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment with extensive interactions with other functional areas. While the expectation is that travel will not be significant, you will need to be able travel for short periods as necessary (e.g. for conferences, customer meetings, etc).
