The Marketing Operations Specialist is a key role on the Demand Generation and Engagement Marketing Team. Working with GoodData’s marketing operations leader, you will manage the systems, tools, and technology that enable efficient and effective campaign launches within the Account Based Marketing method that is now rocking the world of B2B marketing. You will enable our marketing and sales teams to connect with thousands of highly engaged accounts/leads/contacts. You will make a direct contribution to continuing our rapid growth as a revenue-minded demand generation team member. This role is a unique combination of marketing operations, project management, Marketo management, and team collaboration.


  • Systems Operations - Manage Marketo and Engagio Operations on a daily basis including maintenance and uptime.

  • Web Project Management - Lead a cross-functional team with the main goal of maintaining the website to its most current state.  Collaborate with Marketing Operations Leader, Design Team, Product Marketing, Content Marketing and key Executives on the website schedule of updates by coordinating all efforts.

  • Automate Workflows and Lead Management - Collaborate with marketing operations leader and the rest of the demand gen team members to identify key gaps in current processes and systems with the goal of optimizing workflows for marketing and sales productivity including lead assignments, lead scoring, engagement scoring and SalesForce views.

  • Marketo Campaign Execution - work with demand gen team members to help operationalize campaigns between Marketo and SalesForce including creating SalesForce campaigns, creating Marketo programs and utilities and creating HTML landing pages and emails.

  • Tracking, Reporting - Configure Marketo, SalesForce and Engagio to alert and report lead/contact/account activity and thresholds to sales and other key stakeholders.

  • Database Hygiene - Work with demand gen team to maintain database health - ensure data cleanliness & completeness leveraging tools in Marketo, SalesForce & other third-party data providers.


  • At least one year of current hands-on Marketo coding experience. Marketo Certification is a huge plus, but not required
  • Experience using Salesforce and ability to quickly learn other web applications such as Toutapp
  • HTML proficiency, rules-based coding proficiency, SalesForce reporting proficiency
  • Familiarity with Account-Based Marketing principles and best practices
  • Cross-functional team collaboration and leadership
