Marketing Automation Specialist
Globo plc seeks a Marketing Automation Specialist to create, manage and optimize marketing campaigns, lead nurturing, lead routing and re-engagement programs to create high quality opportunities for our Inside and Field Sales Teams.
Globo Plc., a global provider of complete enterprise mobility solutions and SaaS, is making waves in the mobile application management space. Our GO!Enterprise (EMM*) and GO!AppZone (MADP**) offerings help businesses expand their engagement with employees and customers via a secure and extensible environment that runs on all smart mobile devices. We are growing our marketing team to help expand our North American (Globo Mobile Technologies, Inc) footprint.
Hands on and owning the marketing automation function, you will be our “go to person” on all things Marketo. You are the technical resource for our lead generation programs. Key responsibilities include:
· Lead Marketo projects from a technical and operational standpoint · Understand marketing programs and practices and use Marketo functionality to support these activities · Build Marketo workflows, QA and test all programs; ensure workflows are acting properly · Be knowledgeable about Marketo reporting and analytics and able to customize reports for various stakeholders so they can measure program effectiveness · Participate in building ROI models to support marketing lifecycle analysis · Manage any vendors (content, creative, technical) that support Marketo programs · Manage integrations into Marketo from 3rd party applications (webinar, social media, etc.) · Build lead scoring models using behavioral and demographic criteria · Manage the “health” of the marketing database, ensuring that data is complete and up to date · Execute A/B Testing of subject lines, email content, landing pages and other key marketing elements · Stay abreast of Marketo developments and make suggestions for fully utilizing Marketo capabilities · Ability to collaborate with sales operations to understand Globo’s use of CRM and ensure Marketo is supporting sales · Define and manage marketing operational processes so that marketing activities are executed efficiently
Skills and experience that will enable your success in this role:
· 1-2 years of experience with the Marketo marketing automation platform, bringing knowledge of existing and new functionality to marketing and sales teams. · Marketo certification not required but expected to be completed within first six to eight months of employment · 3 to 4 years of general marketing experience, preferably in B2B enterprise software · Project management skills are essential to be effective in this role, managing multiple projects and deadlines · Analytic skills and aptitude. Ability to help the marketing team measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and evaluation of the results · Communication skills: competency in writing and in verbal communication is vital to effectively managing and communicating with the team · We are a start up and it is critical that you are able to take the ball and run with, take ownership of marketing projects and programs, ask questions, articulate and manage expectations, and at the end of the day, get it done!
Location: This position is located in our Palo Alto, CA office. We are open to considering telecommuting (work from home, travel as required) candidates from outside of the San Francisco Bay Area, including out of state candidates.
