About the role
As our first Marketing Automation Manager and a member of the Marketing Team, you will help accelerate business results in a year that is already characterized by rapid growth. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing demand generation campaigns to accelerate qualified lead velocity for our B2B sales team for both the outbound and inbound marketing channels. You will also be the primary user and administrator of our Marketo account, building and optimizing marketing automation campaigns to support all demand generation initiatives.
Grovo’s customers are everywhere – maximizing qualified lead velocity will include segmenting our existing, growing userbase to deliver appropriate marketing campaigns, building programs and campaigns to drive outbound lead generation, optimizing campaigns for efficiency and scale, and reporting against growth KPIs.
Highly talented creative and engineering teams will be available to our Marketing Automation Manager to aid in the creation of beautiful assets, engaging product experiences, and full-funnel monetization reporting.
This position reports to Grovo’s Vice President of Marketing at our NYC headquarters.
Essential Functions
Develop and execute multi-touch lead generation campaigns
Work cross-functionally to create persona-based messaging in support of the entire buy-cycle
Management of the company’s marketing automation platform (Marketo). Create content and set up workflows which result in better marketing metrics, increased conversion rates, improved lead tracking and ultimately more qualified opportunities.
Prepare weekly reports on campaign pipeline impact
Track, analyze and report on campaign effectiveness, modifying when necessary
Professional Requirements
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a marketing operations role, with experience using Salesforce and Marketo
Demonstrable success in both building new campaigns, reporting against them, and optimizing them to KPI goals
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to quickly process large data sets and take action based on qualitative and quantitative results
Excellent spoken and written communication, with the ability to summarize test results and tactical decision-making for executive review
Experience and functional knowledge of split testing and marketing optimization
