Reed Group is a mid-sized (about 450 employees) company that’s growing crazy fast. We help large employers (mostly) manage and understand employee absences. We build software, help people cope during big life crises, and web-publish medical information (at disabilityguidelines.com.)
 
What’s life like here? It never gets boring. You get to work with a wide variety of smart, caring people – techies, nurses, and other folks who chose Reed Group because the work we do matters. We’re business casual (translation: jeans are OK but shorts are not) and are planning to move next door, into a remodeled, contemporary office space that will be much more awesome than our current, kinda boring, cube-land space.
 
Marketing is a teeny-weeny department right now – three full-time people and some external vendors – but it’s growing like crazy, too. You’d be joining a team that gets a lot done, fast, and has fun doing it. We work closely with Sales and team with lots of other people, including Software Development, Project Management, Finance and more.
 
Who We’re Looking For
 
You’re a modern marketer who’s all about results, and you’ve got the tech skills to make it happen. You’re smart, energetic, and have solid Marketo skills. You know enough about SEO, Google Analytics and AdWords to be able to put together end-to-end campaigns that work. A reliable, motivated self-starter, you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where there are multiple business lines and products to bring to market and promote. You keep trying until you get it right. You are precise, detail-oriented, and relentlessly pursue quality. You have a sense of humor and a creative spirit.
 
 
What You’d be Doing, AKA Essential Functions:
 
·         Serve as webmaster for company’s corporate website (WordPress), with primary responsibility for maintaining, updating and tracking results from site
·         Manage and execute setup, day to day activities, and optimization of our marketing automation platform (Marketo) and develop/maintain in-house lists, nurturing programs, demand generation campaigns, lead scoring and digital assets including landing pages, forms, and emails
·         Execute and analyze A/B tests
·         Collaborate with internal teams, including Software Development and Sales, who are key stakeholders and business partners for Marketing
·         Help maintain Reed Group blogs, posting new material as required
·         Work with internal teams to improve the management of Salesforce, including data quality and utilization
·         Work with external vendors to coordinate integration of graphics, external reporting and other elements with Reed Group’s marketing activities
·         Contribute to planning, development and implementation of marketing campaigns
·         Assist internal teams and external vendors with analytics and tracking of digital tools; build and maintain internal reports based on digital analytics
·         Suggest adjustments to digital marketing tactics with the goal of continuous improvement
·         Contribute to Reed Group’s social media efforts, seeking opportunities to grow marketing reach via measurement and optimization of social channels
·         Contribute to web strategy planning and execution

Qualifications:
 
·         At least 4 years of experience in corporate marketing, marketing operations or product marketing
·         Experienced user of WordPress CMS
·         At least 1 year experience as webmaster for a WordPress site (business or personal)
·         Strong understanding of CRMs; Salesforce proficiency preferred
·         Proficient user of marketing automation software, with at least 1 year hands-on experience with Marketo
·         2-4 years of experience in inbound marketing
·         Experience using Google Analytics to create reports
·         Experience with Google AdWords, AdSense
·         Working understanding of SEO
·         Passion for accuracy and analysis
·         Degree from 4-year accredited university or college
·         General understanding of digital strategy
