Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Community and Social Media Manager to join our family of Ozobot fans. The right candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic, and mission-driven (like us). They will have serious social media mojo, enough to make the role their own; craft meaningful customer relationships; and keep pace with an exploding digital community of kids, parents, and educators who like, snap, and share Ozobot creations at an impressive rate. Our Community Manager will be responsible for strategizing and executing fun, friendly content across all Ozobot brand social platforms with the goal of increasing brand awareness, engagement, and community.


  • Develop and implement a holistic social media strategy across platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and Snapchat)
  • Grow our Social Media audience and engagement
  • Determine the best strategies for each customer target and platform
  • Create and manage monthly social media calendars that support the overall Brand Marketing calendar
  • Ideate and manage execution of  social-related content production, working with designers as needed (for images, infographics, GIFs, and video)
  • Determine mix of educators/parents/kids social media targeting strategies
  • Analyze and report out on social media results
  • Determine and execute online influencer program
  • Build and nurture our website community through content and programming

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing, Communications
  • 4-6+ years of experience in managing social media accounts for a consumer-facing brand
  • Mastery of all major Social Media platforms
  • Mastery of Sprout Social or similar social media management tools
  • Ability to manage and evaluate social creative
  • Collaborative and cooperative spirit
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Superior written communication skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Creative thinker, cool hunter, pop culture lover, and/or influencer in your own right
  • Ability to leverage data and analytics to shape strategy
  • Portfolio of campaigns that exhibit:
    • Experimentation with new social media tools and channels
    • Collaboration with graphic designers
    • Experience building brands
  • Customer service experience
  • E-commerce experience
