Ordering Folders and Assets

Hi,

This is a small idea but I'd really like to be able to have more control over the order of my folders. Currently, I use numbers for most of them but for the others if I want to archive I usually put a "z" in front so it's listed last and reporting folders I usually put a "!" in front to list first. It'd just be nice if we could drag to the order we want. And maybe this would be just an admin or some certain role ability.

Love this idea!  I'm currently working on cleaning up our foldering system so we don't have to dive 5 folders into the tree to get to the assets we need and archiving the ones we don't.  Even enabling users to pin certain folders to the top of the tree would be an improvement and help keep our instances clean.

Thanks for passing along, Dory!  In Salesforce, I am able to do this with report folders and its a huge time-savor instead of having to scroll through the sea of folders.

I think it would be nice to just have an auto-archive option or something like that in Marketo.

I agree, Nadine. Archiving is kind of a pain due to naming and organization of folders and also the limitations in archiving assets in programs etc.
