Current Page URL Variable in Templates

Current Page URL Variable in Templates

<link rel="canonical" href="{{URL OF LANDING PAGE WITHOUT ADDITIONAL PARAMETERS}}">

There should be a way to insert the current landing page's URL dynamically into the body of the template. It can be called as a variable such as {{URL}} and appended accordingly. This is relevant for canonical links, especially, since our campaigns use additional URL parameters that are creating duplicate content issues.

It would also be helpful for a dynamic share bar, since I'd like to share the root URL without additional parameters, and hard-coding share-buttons with the proper URLs is tedious.

I'm clearing up a duplicate content issue with our indexed Marketo landing pages. I'm looking to add a meta tag to a template that can apply to all of the individual pages that are created.

The above example is something I'm looking to do, and Javascript won't be adequate to achieve this goal. I would really prefer to do this through the template rather than going through each of our individual landing pages and hard-coding this.

I have no clue how you'd do this with Meta tags.. I can see how you'd do it with Javascript though, but that's not good enough.
