If someone sends you a link to a specific campaign or smartlist or anything really, it'd be nice if when you click the link and are brought to that particular asset, the tree hierarchy on the left side would automatically be set to that asset as well (w/ the appropriate folder or campaign exposed).
Agreed. I am LOVING the semantics of the URLs for everything in Marketo. I love being able to send a link to a specific analytics report, or to a specific email inside a program. It would be nice if the left-nav recognized that URL to display the remainder of the program/folder whatever.
The current asset is supposed to be selected in the tree. If you have any specific examples of where this is not working I can get them fixed as bugs. Does it seem to be related to the depth of the folder nesting?
Someone sent me an example directly. It looks like the Smart Campaign "Flow" and "Smart List" tabs do not highlight the tree when linked to directly. So I've fixed those for the June release. Please go ahead and send any other examples you might have.
Thanks Paul - on my spot checks this is as working as suggested, only Smart campaigns it looks like. i didn't do a full testing, but emails & landing pages work now.
