A way to quickly suspend all emails

I’m learning quickly that if there’s an issue with our system, there’s no easy way to stop emails from going out. Unless I’m missing something, it would be nice to have a master “pause” button for all email communication! Or even be able to select certain programs and mass pause them. Manually going through each program is neither fun nor efficient.

It would be great to have the ability to abort campaigns right from the Campaign Queue in Marketing Activities.

For sure! And there's several Autoresponders as well that I have little control over when the emails get sent because they're in real-time. I could just remove the email all togeather but to do that for EVERY form would be crazy! If I could just pause ALL communication till we get this problem resolved that would make my life SO MUCH easier.

Couldn't you changed the communication limits to 0 and that would stop all emails?

@david thats an interesting thought. But I wonder how that would impact a program. Would they get "paused" till the limitation is released or would it just skip all the emails that would have gotten sent (and them not get them at all once the problems fixed). Because if it skipps the emails that dosnt really help me. I guess thats better then getting a bad email.

@Stephen I guess it depends on how your programs are set up. If they are time sensitve programs, then it will skip over those emails... If the programs are triggered, then i wouild think it would hold off until the communication limit is lifted. It would help me if I knew exactly how some of your programs are set up.
