Being part of an Eastern-Indian family + growing up in the US with Thanksgiving was always an interesting time for me.  My family really wanted us to fit in, so we watch football, the Macy's parade, have a giant turkey, etc  and have a huge party with 40-50 family members each year.

My thanksgiving involves 2 buffet lines. One buffet- all-American Thanksgiving dinner with a huge turkey! Second buffet- every curry your heart can desire aka full blown Indian restaurant buffet.

The best is when you bring a new boyfriend over to my Thanksgiving- think "My big fat greek wedding", but louder!
