About your second question, When I took the specializations, I remember a very clear disclaimer saying that the prerequisite for taking Marketo Specialization exam is that one has to be an MCE in order to qualify to take the Specialization exams. But I do not see that anywhere any more. This is the URL which provides the details of Marketo certifications​ and Specializations​. No where is it mentioned about any pre-requisite of being an MCE for taking the Specialization exams!
