System Fields: Original Source Info & Registration Source Info

Does anyone know what the fields called Original Source Info & Registration Source Info are for and where they get their values from? i know they are system generated fields but I am not sure of the difference or what values get populated in these fields? There used to be an article in product documentation with the definitions of the system fields but its no longer available.

Hi Selene,

The Original Source fields will give you information about how the lead went from Anonymous to Known in your system.  Possible values would be things like the name of the form they filled out or the page where that form was.

You can see other possible values by creating a smart list in your instance with filters like Original Source Info > is not empty.
