The Marketing   Automation Specialist is a mission critical role at Collegis Education. This   position is responsible for utilizing marketing automation platforms to help   Collegis Education’s clients achieve and surpass business goals. The   Marketing Automation Specialist will be responsible for campaign mapping,   planning, execution and measurement of marketing automation/lead generation/nurturing   programs. Additionally, this role will work closely with the marketing   automation team to grow the practice.

 

The Marketing   Automation Specialist will work with internal and external stakeholders to   map out customer/student journeys and personas across a variety of higher   education clients. The output of aforementioned responsibilities will be the   cornerstone of the marketing automation campaigns for Collegis Education   clients.

 

Primary   Responsibilities, Essential Functions and Preferred Requirements:

  • Function as a subject matter expert for   Marketing Automation programs across specific partners. 
  • Manage the production and execution of lead   generation (prospective students) and email nurture campaigns.
  • Produce a high volume of automated campaign   assets (emails, landing pages, forms etc.) across Marketing Automation   platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Slate, Active   Campaign, Drip, Mailchimp and other relevant platforms.
  • Enhance Marketing Automation programs through   A/B testing and campaign reporting insights.
  • Audience segmentation and analysis.
  • Collaborate across the organization with digital   strategists, analysts and marketers.
  • Facilitate the integration of third party tools   and software with Marketing Automation platforms.
  • Support the Marketing Automation team by   assisting with ad hoc requests from partners.
  • Keep up to date and educate others on Marketing   Automation best practices.
  • Partner with cross-channel strategists to make   multi-channel campaign recommendations (i. e. inbound forms, social media   marketing, PPC, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of KPIs, trends, etc.
  • Use insights to make data-backed recommendations.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1-3 years in Marketing Automation implementation   and execution of strategy 
  • Experience and proficiency with relevant Marketing   Automation platforms; specifically Marketo. 
  • Experience in implementation, integration, campaign   creation and campaign management.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com, Microsoft (Word,   Excel, PPT, Sharepoint, etc.) products including Visio and Excel Pivot Tables.
  • Can test and analyze workflow, content, lead   scoring and tactics for improvement.
  • Keeps the lead flow highway efficiently moving   between the MA and CRM platforms.
  • Familiarity with Google or Adobe Analytics

 Education, Certifications and Licensures:

  •  Bachelor’s degree required (majors in English, business,   creative writing, journalism, information systems, marketing or   communications are preferred)
