There's been previous conversations about how "before" date filters include blank values, and whether or not that is ideal behavior. I think the best solution to this would actually be to add another constraint to date/datetime fields called "include blanks: true/false." Ability to import RCM model between marketo instances

Due to a Salesforce input error, we need to find emails from outside the United States ending with a local email domain in our database.   Can we add a filter into the Email Address for "ends with" ?  such as .co.uk .fr . de . see .it etc to identify Country. As often, only two letters using the "contains" filter brings in too many additional addresses where the letters are part of a name or company.   This will also help with reporting, personalisation and target audiences.   Thanks, Zoe    ... Can you please add the ability to rearrange the fields on the layout when viewing custom object records? The fields are perhaps arranged according to the order in which they were created, but there are logical groupings that we want to create to make it easier when viewing the records. Ability to filter out specific links from clicks in email performance & click performance report

The process of analyzing email clicks is very manual involving a lot of data manipulation in Excel.    For example, if we want an email performance report that excludes footer clicks (to remove social media icons, preference center, unsub, etc.) we have to pull a link performance report, get that number, and update it on the email performance report.  We can't use the green filters in Marketo since it would filter people out across all metrics instead of just clicks.  I know we can include the MktoNoTrack tag in the HTML, but there are times we'd like to see that click traffic, so it would be helpful to have the data available to us.   ... As part of the GDPR, we need to get consent from people in order to be able to keep their data. If someone registers to download a white paper but does not opt-in, we are supposed to delete any reference to the person. This means deleting it or anonymize it. One very big issue with this is that when we delete the person, it is automatically deleted from all reporting. The work around this is to anonymize the person, since it is accepted that we keep anonymous information in our systems. We can easily replace the first name, last name or email address in the database with "John Doe" or "Anonymous Person". But there are some information that cannot be manipulated from a smart campaign: Cookie IDs attached to the person Inferred and system data such as the IP address Data value changes in the activity logs Fills out form in the activity logs Furthermore, relying on users to run data value changes is error prone. It would be very helpful if a new "anonymize Person" flow step was created. In the field management, we would be able to define which fields should be anonymized, and what would be the anonymous value for each of them (for instance, we would define that the anonymous value for first name would be "Anonymous" and for last name it would be "Person", and NULL for the email address). Then, when running the "Anonymize person" flow step, Marketo would automatically replace all the fields set in the admin with their anonymous value, cleanse the system fields that could be considered as personal Ids and also cleanse all the DVC activities (either deleting them or replacing all values with their anonymous counterpart). -Greg ... New possible duplicate records could be found by adding new fields or combination of fields in the "Duplicate Fields" filter. Please create a way for me to update the field label of a field when it is in use! We have fields that we are using throughout our instance that are too deeply integrated to update with the current workflow. Our specific use case is related to attribution tracking. We are adding and changing some UTM fields and would like to update our field labels to denote 'First Touch' and 'Last Touch'. We are using global forms but the fields are still too intimately tangled with our programs, filtering, etc. for us to be able to remove the field from use in order to update the name. Its not critical to the business but it would make my life a whole lot easier if we could do this!  ... View more

It would be nice when filtering email activity history and email triggers (e.g. "was delivered email," "opens email") to have a filter for whether or not the email was operational. Obviously this wouldn't be that important if you are filtering the activity for one specific email, but if you wanted, for example, to do scoring differently for operational vs promotional emails, or simply to track the number of operational emails records are receiving, this would be very helpful. Provide pod/datacenter-neutral way to reference Marketo UI URLs

As a developer who builds tight integrations with Marketo, I am interested in being able to send users back to Marketo where appropriate reviews can be done for things like Lead records, Smart Lists, various Assets, etc. For example, if I am showing records to a Marketo customer that may need to be reviewed (such as having a bad email address), I'd like to provide the exact record in Marketo's UI for cross-referencing. However, to create a URL around a Lead record's details, the structure needs to be like the following:   https://app-aba.marketo.com/leadDatabase/loadLeadDetail?leadId=123   Without an Idea like Provide API method to determine instance datacenter , there is no way to provide a correct URL to end users. There is no valid way to create a redirect that would allow a developer to send people back to Marketo without knowing the exact datacenter and pod.   Today, Salesforce works around this potential issue by using login.salesforce.com as a valid wildcard redirect, like so:   https://login.salesforce.com/lightning/r/OBJECT_TYPE/<RECORD_ID>/view   However, no such equivalent exists inside Marketo's architecture. The current closest behavior involves the newer URL structure of https://engage-ab.marketo.com/?munchkinId=123-ABC-456#/classic/MA, where an improper datacenter will still resolve—swapping the URL for "engage-sj" or similar still results in the final correct URL. Given that we want to help keep Marketo users inside Marketo where relevant, could a wildcard redirect link be made available? ... View more

Upcoming changes to Chromium are enforcing better policies around using Secure and SameSite flags in cookies. Unfortunately, this conflicts with the way Marketo writes cookies today and could potentially cause major issues for Marketo customers once this is rolled out—Microsoft and Mozilla are also planning to treat cookie flags differently around the same time. Could cookie writing please be updated at a minimum to have the Secure flag set (and preferably explicitly declare SameSite=None when appropriate on third-party values and Lax on first-party)? Otherwise, this could lead to headaches. Getting it prioritized now will ensure the transition is seamless for Marketo customers. ... View more

I would like to be able to use Marketo's REST API to move Program(s) from Folder A (current) to Folder B (desired). Currently, there is no available API endpoint to do this operation, but it is crucial to a fully automated Archive process which maintains Program Member Data. With all the focus on keeping spam complaints low it would be great if there was a way to track spam complaints on the campaign level instead of having to create a smart list looking for spam complaints and then having to dive into the activity log to find the campaigns. Spam complaints per email send should be visible like any other metrics on an email performance report and the email tab for each campaign - count and percentage. ... View more

Currently Marketo - LinkedIn Audience Match integration only uses email address to match audiences in LinkedIn. This causes small match rates and smaller audiences than when manually importing customer lists or using rival tools.  LinkedIn Integration should be enabled to use all the possible data points to get higher match rates and better audiences. The purpose of this idea is to gather all requirements for the next level of program token management. Here they are : New types of tokens required : URL token types (​) so that managing URLs for CTAs no longer requires a 1 page how-to guide Image / File token types, so that updating a image in a email or LP can be done easily without error (​) Form tokens types to enable changing the form in an LP without editing the LP. See List and smart list tokens () Formula tokens () All tokens providing program information, tags etc... (​) Multi line text tokens (not rich text, but just multi-line) List of values tokens (​ Thx Andrew Sielen​) Select field tokens, so that the standard user cloning programs has the possibility to choose values within a limited list (in conjunction with limited rights, see below). See , thx Robb Barrett Color picker tokens (), which settings could be restricted to a limited set of values. Recycling Bin / Trash Can

It would be great if there was a recycling bin or trash can that would hold data for a set amount of time before it's permanently delete. Similar to the SFDC recycle bin where we can go in and see what's been deleted the last 21 days, and also as an admin I'm able to go in and see what other users have deleted out of the system and if need be retrive the files. ... Allow templates to be changed after email created

We have found that we will want to test out different templates, but cannot change the template once we have created an email. The biggest time that we run into this is we have our company logo template in English and French. If I want to clone an English email to simply add the French text, I cannot do this because I can't change easily from one template to another. It adds extra steps and causes me to have to have the English version open at the same time to make sure the formatting is the same. I want to have a button so that I can easily change the template once I have started working on an email. ... View more

Alert for 'Failed to Sync to SFDC Campaign'

There is no way to set an alert when records fail to sync to an SFDC campaign in a bulk manner or even create a report along the lines of .....   "Filled our form" -and- "not was added to SFDC campaign -- is ANY"   And no way to in a Smart List to query the person log entry for:   "Sync to SFDC campaign - Failed"   Each lead has to be manually checked (or uploads monitored), and requires folks doing this on a regular and timely fashion. Would be great if I could have some kind of alert, or even a single Smart List that uses the 'is any' operator, for leads that were not added to an SFDC campaign in a reasonable time period.   Thanks! ... "Blocked from emails" in Smart Campaign Schedule

There are a couple of ideas out there for a better representation of this view in Smart Campaign Schedule:     But I wanted to express again how confusing this line can be.    1. Email is operational. Blocked from emails doesn't account for that, but still lists all records which are unsubscribed or marketing suspended. That is not true: These people are in fact not blocked from that email. Also, it blurs the view on people who are really blocked, e.g. due to being email invalid. 2. That line also appears if there isn't even a "Send Email" flow step in that Smart Campaign. It is also shown when the flow step e.g. is "Change Data Value" where there is no such thing as a block.
