I Understand. In fact earlier, the option to purchase the specializations itself used to be Grayed out unless one was a Marketo Certified Expert. But currently, even non Marketo certified experts from my team are getting the option to purchase the specialization exams as stand alone. So I am wondering that, given the fact that the specializations are expiring on 31st Jan, and the above disclaimer in your reply, has been removed from all the websites, am not sure  if MCE is a pre-requisite any more. Although ideally it should be
