Thanks for calling this out to the Community. We haven't done this, but I want to do it too.
Interesting article Kimi. With our current setup we don't allow 1-click unsubscribe, so in theory the person clicking the unsubscribe link would still be taken to our standard subscription center page with email address pre-filled in the form.
I am curious if we've still had some "silent unsubscribes" come through.....people are always in a rush and may not look at the pre-populated email address
I had noticed this behaviour. Actually when I receive an email from a lead asking me to unsubscribe them, I usually scroll down to our mailing and click on unsubscribe where their email address is auto-populated (instead of searching for email in Marketo and ticking the unsubscribe box).
However if the lead is using the new forward to a friend feature this shouldn't happen right?
