We receive feedback from our email admin team with a concern in regards to Marketo email. As a corporate policy, it is not allowed external services (ie. Marketo etc.) to send messages on behalf of corporate as it could provide risk that our email brand (corporate domain) could be compromised or blacklisted as a source of SPAM.
However, as Marketo is SaaS application which works on cloud-based, an email would be send from external services (Marketo) anyway regardless of SPF & DKIM implementation.
We are think of implementing Marketo SPF at our another domain (not main corporate domain). Could this help ?
Anyone has experiences and could share how to deal with this situation.
