We're using the new Email program type for the first time and wondering how the dashboard handles a re-send of the same email. Does anyone have experience with this?
For example; we go through the standard setup and email send using the control panel. Then next week we want to re-send to anyone who soft bounced or didn't engage since the first send. Can you re-use the control panel for the resend (just adjusting the smart list part of the audience panel to our criteria) or do you have to add a local smart campaign asset and re-send using the "old" way. More importantly, does the dashboard reflect the re-send properly?
It looks like you have to add a smart camapign and do it the old way. Kinda lame that they haven't built in a functionality for re-sends. I would recomend that you don't just re-send the same exact email. We at least change the subject line because if someone didn't open it the first ttime because the subject line wasn't compelling they won't open it the second time either. it could also seem spammy to recieve the same exact email twice.
