      Responsibilities:

           The Marketing Automation Manager will oversee the development of marketing automation best practices across the marketing team.  This will include managing multiple existing instances of the Marketo product while acting as the primary stakeholder for additional marketing automation solutions and integrations developed by our in-house technology team.  In this role, you will report to the Director, Marketing Operations Analysis while working closely with the Email Marketing, Sales Operations, Admissions, Salesforce, and Marketing Technology teams to:

      •           Get new Marketo instances fully functional and aligned with Salesforce
      •           Maintain the sandbox instance as a testing database and a repository of program templates that can be cloned into production instances
      •           Act as point person for marketing automation issues, funneling support issues through to the appropriate channels
      •           Manage user accounts and user roles
      •           Train and educate stakeholders and users as to features and proper use of Marketo
      •           Research and implement new Marketo features into marketing processes and disseminate as needed
      •           Work with the web and tech teams to “graduate” functionality from Marketo when and where appropriate
      •           Act as a primary stakeholder for projects related to automation at the beginning of the marketing funnel, including pre-lead management
      •           Consult with stakeholders on testing new strategic initiatives and work with management to scale best practices where appropriate

      Our Ideal Candidate:

      •           Has a Bachelor's degree
      •           Is familiar with marketing automation systems such as Marketo, Eloqua, or Pardot
      •           Has developed and executed marketing automation strategies with a focus on measurement, optimization, and analysis
      •           Is Marketo Certified (large plus)
      •           Has experience with Marketo / Salesforce.com integration
      •           Has built flows and other automation in Marketo
      •           Has an understanding of market best practices around email deliverability
      •           Is familiar with HTML and CSS
      •           Possesses solid interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work on cross functional teams
      •           Is able to prioritize and handle multiple assignments simultaneously while making intuitive and thoughtful decisions
      •           Thrives in an atmosphere of constant change
      •           Has a passion for online education
