    We're hiring a Marketing Operations Specialist!

      Certain, Inc. is a SaaS event managment platform head quartered in downtown SF.  We are growing and looking to fill this position ASAP.

           The primary responsibility of the Marketing Operations and Lead Development Specialist is to focus on vetting Raw and Suspect leads, and identifying those leads that can be moved to MQL status. In addition, the Marketing Operations and Lead Development Specialist will work with targeted marketing generated lists that are part of marketing programs to determine if they can be moved to MQL status, and supporting targeted marketing campaigns. Marketing Operations and Lead Development Specialist are responsible for driving leads from marketing to the SDRs, and actively tracking their performance.
            
           Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
            
           • Identify and qualify new MQLs through subscribed databases, generated lists, publicly available sources such as LinkedIn, events, referrals, and in-bound leads. 
           • Achieve quarterly targets such as number of leads processed and quality of MQLs passed to sales. Acquire, research, and discover additional information where needed to develop a profile of companies for SDR sell-in opportunities. 
           • Support the company's marketing efforts by following up on any inbound leads and inquiries on a timely basis and attend events as required. 
           • Work with the marketing team to help develop email, nurture and other marketing campaigns.
           • Ability to work effectively in Salesforce, report progress, and provide insight on lead movement 
           • Work with marketing and sales to segment prospect lists for targeted campaigns and customize campaign for each targeted segment.
            
            
           Background and Experience:
            
           • Bachelor’s degree 
           • Experience in a marketing, lead generation or business development role in an application software company
           • Experience dealing with customers/prospects at all organizational levels including executive and C-suite positions
            
            
            
           Skills, Knowledge and Competencies :
            
           • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
           • Ability to multi-task and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment.
           • High degree of computer literacy is a must.
           • Previous experience with out-bound telesales for a software company is a plus.
           • Able to work with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Salesforce.com or similar contact management software.
           • Personal comfort level with being on the phones, dealing directly with customers/prospects and overcoming objections to get point across
           • Attention to detail, strong follow-up and organizational skills and personal initiative required
