You can import these leads/email addresses to a list in Marketo. From there, you can send an email to the leads in that list. if you create a form with fields you want to capture for the leads, their record will be updated in Marketo upon form completion.
Ideally you would use a marketo form for this. The business benefit of doing so is that you're database is updated automatically. Depending on how your campaign is set up, you can set the acquisition program, lead source and lead source detail instantaneously in this trigger campaign.
You can also import the leads, but it's more time consuming and less automated.
Hi Julie, we created a pop-up marketo form on our website. it is a newsletter opt-in form. It pops up after the lead is on our site for a specific amount of time. (We use wordpress)
