FiscalNote is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager in Washington, DC

You will work with the Marketing Director and other FiscalNoters to plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns that include web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and display advertising. You are expected to rapidly learn, develop, and apply various skill sets across a multitude of disciplines, not just one marketing specialty. In particular, you will:

      - Measure, analyze, and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)

      - Identify trends and insights to optimize spend and performance on an ongoing basis

      - Build, manage, and edit marketing content, including white papers, case studies, one pagers, user guides, videos, the blog, the newsletter,  etc. that drive lead generation and customer retention

      - Plan, execute, and measure A/B and other conversion tests

      - Collaborate with internal teams to collect key insights and trends that lead to engaging campaigns for both prospects and existing FiscalNote customers

      - Develop marketing approaches that will optimize user acquisition, engagement, and retention

      - Identify and collaborate with key third party vendor partners to ensure delivery of marketing tactics on target and on budget

      - Manage the FiscalNote Marketing and Editorial calendars

      - Plan, execute, and measure all FiscalNote events, tradeshows and regional meetups

Unconstrained by generic and traditional marketing, you scoff at simply relying on the tried and true methods. Yes, you understand they are needed and necessary, but you think bigger and grander. Much like our engineering team builds products never seen before, you yearn to develop innovative ways to seek out customers and turn them into true FiscalNote believers and brand evangelizers. Rather than function as a slave to intuition, you extract significant insight from meaningful metrics.  A content ace as well, you appreciate the intricate nuances of words and crave to mold delicately crafted, yet powerfully compelling marketing material. At the end of the day, however, you communicate like a boss and the clarity of your message never falters.

3+ years of diverse marketing experience

Experience using marketing automation systems and Salesforce.com

Professional experience managing and reporting on SEO/SEM, CRM, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns

Experience using Google Analytics (or similar technologies) to measure and optimize marketing campaigns

Impeccably tight editing skills and an industry-tested ability to assemble effective content

A passion for technology and love for absorbing cutting-edge marketing trends

Ability to work in a fast paced, agile environment
