ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Sr. Email Marketer will be responsible for managing outbound e-mail communications, executing email campaigns, running tests, and analyzing reports. You will be a crucial member of our internet marketing team responsible for growing our email marketing channel.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO:
· Create, deploy, and manage marketing campaigns to meet business objectives.
· Build and lead the email marketing channel, including all promotional emails.
· Develop and implement high impact, multi-channel marketing strategy to generate demand, qualified leads and sales pipeline.
· Measure and report on effectiveness of marketing programs and campaigns, with the purpose of improving resource allocation, efficiency and revenue generation.
· Align marketing programs and activities with overall marketing strategy.
· Schedule email blasts for optimal timing, lead nurturing capabilities.
· Set up auto responder emails as completion actions for your forms.
· Conduct audience segmentation, and email test plan designs.
· Continually monitor, test and track email key performance indicators by segment, campaign and season.
· Monitor and grow key email metrics, drive new business and retention through email.
· Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to derive insights and optimization roadmap for critical programs.
· Preview emails across multiple clients/browsers, in inbox view or with images disabled.
· Bounce and unsubscribe management.
ABOUT YOU:
· Experience with recognized B2C Email Marketing Automation platforms
· Experience working with a large email base at an e-commerce or other marketplace is a plus.
· Deep knowledge of and experience in all aspects of email marketing including functionality, delivery, analysis, legislation and general industry trends, best practices and metrics.
· Strong computer skills including very good working knowledge of HTML &CSS, Adobe Creative Suite
· 3+ years of hands on Email marketing experience.
· Experience with CRM systems ( Salesforce )
· Experience hand coding emails
· Knowledge of SPAM filters.
· PHP and GIT are a plus
