REPORTING
RELATIONSHIP:       The Senior Manager will report to the Chief Marketing Officer.
 
THE COMPANY:       Zags is a new breed of software provider delivering on its vision to change the status quo of insurance administration systems through the disruptive application of technology.  Zags designs and develops its insurance solutions with the goal of helping carriers face the growing P&L pressures from increasing regulations and little return on assets.  Zags understands that with these challenges comes the need for P&C and Life carriers to find a new way of processing that goes beyond claims, billing, and policy administration.  Zags is headquartered in New York with offices in Paris, Minneapolis and Tunis. 
 
BACKGROUND:       In June, 2014, the company received an infusion of $30 million in new funding, provided by the company’s existing and founding shareholders. The funding will be used to help Zags reach its full potential, fueling its product and go-to-market strategies, and building a world-class management team
 
POSITION
RESPONSIBILITIES:            The right candidate is a marketing leader with:
·         Proven results; able to show evidence of having set B2B campaign plans and driven to qualified leads and sales pipeline.
·         Strong skills in campaign management and marketing automation.
·         The ability to work with the CMO to set global email marketing strategy and deliver on the company’s goals.
·         A natural leader who truly enjoys the hands-on aspects of email marketing, who flourishes in generating qualified leads to sales pipeline.
 
The key responsibilities of this role include:
·         Develop and execute event-driven (webinar, etc) and nurturing campaigns that generate qualified leads/pipeline and influence sales deals.
·         Work with Marketing Communications and subject experts to coordinate required web site, SoMe and content support required for campaigns.
·         Build and improve global email marketing strategy, A|B test plans and campaign devlopment while creating best global practices/tools.
·         Manage prospect and customer database including creating and updating lists, segmenting data and list hygiene.
·         Develop and maintain detailed metrics reports for campaign performance tracking, budgets etc.. Construct required reports/dashboards in sf.com.
CANDIDATE
REQUIREMENTS:
 
·         3+ years experience in developing B2B campaigns within a system (e.g., Marketo, Hubspot), ideally for an enterprise software company.
·         Deep experience with marketing automation and CRM tools.  InDesign and/or basic HTML experience is a plus.
·         Demonstrated ability to execute projects and juggle multiple requests with minimal guidance in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
·         Superb oral, written, & presentation skills.
·         A personable, flexible disposition and team player.
·         BA/BS in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
