Does Marketo Suppress Empty Content Blocks?

Hi Community...

I am building out some emails this morning, and I want to build in a content block in the email below the preheader that would be displayed just to subscribers who have a gmail.com address.

I've set up a segmentation for my database, so I will make the gmail content appear there dynamically, but I want to know is if the area where the content goes "collapses" (read that as goes away) or if the space where the content is supposed to go gets put in the email...

As an example the template looks like....
preheader
gmail text (based on a segementation of email contains gmail.com)
email content

and subscriber 1 is a gmail user there email will look like this:
preheader
gmail text
email content

and subscriber 2 is not a gmail user, will there email look like this:
preheader
empty space
email content

--or--
preheader
email content

Thanks for any help or direction on where to look.

I'm fairly sure the content block would appear empty. How that would look to the user depends on your email layout.

Why not test this to see how it works?
