Job Opportunity: Marketing Automation Manager


We’re seeking an experienced, well-rounded, and results-driven Marketing Automation Manager to define, shape and execute a holistic marketing approach for our organisation. The right candidate will provide marketing leadership to improve customer acquisition tactics and conversion initiatives, and proactively develop implementation / analytical driven recommendations to keep us at the forefront of the Architecture & Design community.


You will work collaboratively across digital, creative, marketing, events, sales and other teams to be the centre point for enhancing data-driven decisions for customer engagement through rigorous experimentation and execution.





  • Participate in business objective meetings and build/scope marketing strategies forecasting the impact of potential future initiatives
  • Focus on improving business metrics inclusive of acquisition, activation, retention, referral and revenue across all of the organisation’s products
  • Work closely with the digital team to identify and troubleshoot problems, and identify and execute against enhancement opportunities 




  • Help manage and drive all aspects Marketo implementation, including data migration, configuration, optimisation, documentation and user administration
  • Collaborate with the digital team to ensure high-quality integrations, accessibility and cohesion of data collection across all capture points
  • Support the organisation in the consolidation and integration of multiple marketing channels/software


Insights & Optimisation


  • Build, maintain and manage standardised detailed analytical reports across multiple software solutions that inform and drive hypothesis
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders on how to best leverage analytics to construct reporting dashboards and mechanisms in order to inform better business decisions and optimisation recommendations
  • Effectively utilise both quantitative and qualitative techniques, consumer profiling/predictive modelling, segmentation to offer conversion optimisation
  • Recommend and embed robust test-and-learn methodologies
  • Implement lead scoring practices to enable higher conversions of quality leads
  • Segment audiences and optimise campaigns to increase campaign effectiveness
  • Develop and maintain an information warehouse that allows us to document all customer analysis and research


Campaign Management


  • Devise, implement and execute targeted marketing campaigns
  • Report on all outcomes and advise on recommended changes and improvements




  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics or technical discipline (Computers Science, Engineering, or similar degree)
  • 5+ years of marketing automation experience, ideally with Marketo (or similar Pardot/Hubspot) with advanced knowledge in enterprise marketing automation implementation.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience with hands-on advanced experience of Salesforce CRM, Google Analytics, Excel, Data Segmentation & Visualisation (HTML, SQL, Tableau preferred)
  • Advanced experience and skills in data manipulation and record management
  • Adaptive learner with a fast ability to understand and implement emerging marketing technologies
  • A team-player, positive attitude and flexible mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of management
  • Exposure to digital marketing practices and standards to provide direction to product manager/developers on tracking and tagging parameter methods
  • Familiarity with web technologies (Javascript, HTML, CSS), especially relating to tag management, Javascript marketing tags and Google Analytics troubleshooting
  • Experience in B2B marketing, ideally within Media/Publishing/Agency
