Running into problems with large lead lists imported when syncing to sfdc.

The error we run into when uploading more than 100 leads and syncing them to SFDC is this:

CANNOT_INSERT_UPDATE_ACTIVATE_ENTITY: GlobalPRM_LeadTrigger: System.LimitException: Apex CPU time limit exceeded\n

 

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to rectify this?  Our Salesforce admin is asking if there is a way within Marketo to batch these uploads into smaller sets.  Of course, you can manually create separate campaigns, but this seems very manually intensive to do for every batch upload of this size, AND this is also occurring with large API integrations, so I don't know how to fix this from the Marketo side of the house.  Any suggestions are greatly welcomed.  any ideas?
