Hello! I've inherited a new Marketo instance (and started in Marketing Operations fairly recently myself) and have been running into a few issues around syncing new leads to Salesforce.
What are best practices around syncing new leads to Salesforce from Marketo? Would the following smart list avoid duplicate issues when pulling in new people? Or is this the kind of thing that should be managed on a program basis instead of with a global sync?
1. Person is Created [Trigger]
2. SFDC Type IS NOT Lead OR Contact' [Restriction]
Any guidance on this front would be greatly appreciated.
