Hart Energy's Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the demand and lead generation campaigns with a focus on crafting and executing programs, then tracking and reporting on the results of the programs. The main objectives of this role are to utilize advanced marketing tactics and technology to influence the marketplace, capture customers and prospects, and generate, nurture and convert the pipeline.

The Digital Marketing Specialist role requires a creative thinker, problem solver, and a person that possesses a well-rounded marketing skillset.  This position reports to the Director of Digital Operations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create, execute, and report on multi-channel programs across outbound and inbound channels including: email, content marketing, digital display advertising, search, social advertising, and PPC
  • Leverage marketing automation tools, CRM, and data analysis to bring scale to demand generation programs
  • Analyze data to report on campaign performance and to develop recommendations for improvement
  • Create high-effective marketing campaigns that resonate and drive action
  • Up to 20% travel

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar relevant concentration
  • 2-3 years' experience with marketing automation platforms
  • 2-3 years' experience with Google Suite, primarily in Google Ads and Google Analytics
  • 2-3 years hands-on experience in inbound and demand generation (lead generation, nurture campaigns, and audience segmentation)
  • 1-2 years' experience in social media marketing
  • 1-2 years' experience in project management in developing marketing collateral
  • High level of proficiency with PPC, SEO, retargeting, social marketing
  • Basic HTML and CSS skills
  • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to extract and interpret data from various sources to develop creative solutions and business decisions
  • Creativity is a must, bringing new ideas to the table is a key to success in this role
  • Strong collaboration skills; able to develop and maintain effective relationships with peers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Experience with target list building, management, cleansing, and segmentation
  • Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, functions, pivot tables, and lookups

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Marketo Certified Associate or Expert
  • Google Ads Certification
  • Google Analytics Certification
  • 1-2 years marketing copywriting experience
