Marketing Operations Manager

Needham, Massachusetts



We’re looking for a talented and driven Marketing Operations Manager to build out a world-class marketing operations function. Our ideal candidate is detail oriented, passionate about leveraging new marketing technologies, and has the business acumen to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations that fuel marketing success and sales growth.

As a Marketing Operations Manager, you will work to create scalable processes that ensure best practices in lead generation, digital marketing and database management. You will also conduct data analyses that will be used to inform strategic decisions by stakeholders from across the company. You will make it your goal that every marketing touch point is attributable and that our sales & marketing technology systems work together seamlessly.


  • Drive the Marketing Operations roadmap, keeping abreast of industry trends and working with management across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to outline our long-term vision for our evolving tech stack and processes
  • Manage the implementation of Marketing Operations processes and programs (e.g. marketing automation upgrades, CRM enhancements, lead scoring, campaign tracking, etc.)
  • Define and execute improvements to enhance productivity, conversion rates and sales growth
  • Act as liaison between Marketing & our technology partners, working to articulate marketing business problems, develop use cases, and deliver business requirements to our partners
  • Proactively identify, design, and execute new processes that enable marketers to be more effective in their day-to-day work
  • Contribute to the development, management and analysis of Marketing KPI’s, standardized operational reports and dashboards to provide visibility into the business, lead-to-sales conversion rates, campaign ROI and trends
  • Drive the design, development, and maintenance of lead scoring and nurturing programs
  • Responsible for database optimization, including data acquisition, list segmentation, data cleanliness and integrity within CRM and Marketing Automation databases



  • 5+ years of Marketing Operations experience, preferably in a high growth B2B SaaS environment
  • Knowledge of the business processes and enterprise applications within the Marketing function, including marketing automation, funnel management, personalization, digital, and analytics
  • Proven track record of building systems and processes that support marketing and sales teams
  • Breadth of skills, with ability to move between strategic planning and ideation, as well as hands-on execution
  • Expertise with Marketo and Salesforce with a deep understanding of how to optimize the infrastructure, workflows, and reporting.
  • Experience with ABM and web personalization platforms a plus.
  • Quantitative and results oriented mindset; strong in translating data into actionable business recommendations
  • Demonstrated interest in Marketing and martech trends and strategies
  • Understanding of database management, segmentation, lead scoring models, global email regulations (GDPR, CANSPAM, etc)
  • A bias towards action and "getting things done" to a high standard of quality
