About the Role
Our Content Marketing & Demand Generation Manager, will play a hands on role within our sales and marketing team. Coming from experience working within (not necessarily managing) a strategic, digital content marketing operation, this role is responsible for the creation and management of content marketing and demand generation campaigns to drive top of funnel lead generation and marketing qualified leads.
A key component to the success of this role is your ability to manage the content pipeline, it’s prioritisation and end to end creation of relevant content, influenced heavily by SEO, market trends and thought leadership.
Content will be written by inhouse and outsourced subject matter experts, thought leaders and key education influencers depending on the campaign and/or topic. However, you will possess strong English writing competencies, and be capable of producing high quality content assets on your own where necessary.
You will be confident making strategic decisions on which channels our content should be distributed and marketed on to yield the highest ROI, along with the experience to analyse content/campaign performance and drive ongoing optimisation for continued improvement.
Experience with pay per click (display advertising) across search engines, review websites and retargeting campaigns will be a plus, and more specifically, ppc campaigns involving promotion of content.
This role will play an integral part of our digital marketing team, along with our web development, social, marketing operations and design team members. This team is responsible for executing our digital marketing strategy.
Experience working within (not necessarily managing) a content marketing team/operation.
Digital marketing experience in small, medium or large enterprise.
Experience within a start-up culture.
Experience in any of education/tech/saas markets would be a plus.
Ability to deliver measurable results within a highly contextual market.
End to end content creation/writing and marketing experience
Experience with PPC, SEO, Retargeting
Experience working with marketing automation systems (Marketo/Hubspot/Eloqua)
