SFDC sync - pick list addition not showing up in Marketo

We added a new item to a pick list for the field Job Level in SFDC.   There are both leads and contacts in SFDC with this new job level.  The pick list is identical for both Leads and Contacts in SFDC.  I've checked Field Management to confirm "Block Updates From" is set to none in Marketo for this field.  We would like to select this new item when using the field Job Level in our smart campaigns.  But it is not showing up in Marketo in the drop-down list.  I've successfully typed the new item into Job Level in my smart campaign which worked.  However, this is not practical as new items will continue to be added to pick lists in our SFDC instance.  Any suggestions?
