Description

As a Marketing Operations Specialist you will contribute to all aspects of planning, executing, optimizing, testing, and reporting, working primarily in our Marketo and SalesForce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) instances. Your primary focus will be on day-to-day production of marketing email and the operational aspects of Marketo programs. You will also work with our marketing and product teams to develop email campaigns and experiments. You will be be an active participant in enhancing and maintaining SFMC and Marketo, and encourage best practices.

Responsibilities:

build, test, and launch email programs

create and maintain subscriber databases, lists, and segmentation groups

track email performance and deliver relevant reporting

implement and optimize automated and triggered email programs

assist in the development and execution of A/B testing

devise and implement program refinements

monitor systems and troubleshoot issues

adhere to anti-spam regulation and GDPR compliance

gain new skills and expand your knowledge of marketing technologies

be part of a creative, dynamic team that's changing the way O'Reilly interacts with its customers and prospects.

Minimum Qualifications:

Proficiency with current email marketing best practices, rules, and technology (preferably SFMC and/or Marketo)

Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, web usability, and UX concepts

Ability to execute quickly and with high quality while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment

Excellent written and verbal communication

Familiarity with web analytics reporting systems such as GA360
