The award-winning Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) was established in 1975 and has since grown to be one of America’s leading centers for culinary education, as well as NYC’s largest and most active center of culinary education. 
 
ICE offers comprehensive career training programs in the Culinary Arts, Pastry & Baking Arts, Culinary Management and Hospitality Management and is proud of its 10,000 alumni that have found their culinary voice. The school operates the nation’s largest recreational and professional development program, offering 2,500 classes to 26,000 students annually. ICE also hosts 700 culinary, corporate and press events each year, making it one of the most vibrant and diverse culinary schools in the nation.  The school’s 45,000-square-foot facility is located at 50 West 23rd Street and is open 362 days and nights a year.
 
The Marketing Manager is a full-time position, reporting to the CMO and oversees ICE’s marketing operations, keeping careful eye on its robust marketing mix, consisting of traditional, offline ads to digital to experiential marketing initiatives. Applicants should be highly analytical in nature, thrive on data and make/suggest data-driven decisions.
 
Candidates should be self-motivated, organized, process-driven and have an attention to detail that is unmatched in most individuals. Personally and professionally, he/she is actively involved in the world of marketing and social media and enjoys the challenges that marketing faces in today’s environment.  Most important, he/she has a can-do attitude, confident personality, and is eager to contribute to a collaborative environment with a range of responsibilities.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
 
·        Manage SEO, PPC, CPA and lead generation media buys alongside the CMO
·        Advanced use of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and reporting systems
·        Maintain department task calendar, scheduling and monthly reporting
·        Manage email and marketing automation systems
·        Process website updates in the CMS, commission agency for design projects
·        Support CMO in agency management
 
The candidate must have the following qualifications:
 
  • Minimum of 5-7 years marketing management experience, including at least one position that demonstrated your proven ability to contribute towards a  growth initiative
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or equivalent; MBA a plus
§  Analytical in nature: both qualitative and quantitative
§  Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics and marketing tracking systems
§  Adept at data analysis (including advanced use of excel and/or marketing measurement tools) and a proven track record of taking meaningful actions from data trends.
§  Strong, current working knowledge of digital marketing: SEM, SEO, lead generation, social media and content
§  Marketing automation experience a strong plus
§  Aggressive, proactive self-starter who thinks both creatively and strategically, with excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
§  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strict attention to project management, detail, and managing historical records 
§  Ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with an entrepreneurial perspective
