With all the great posts on nurture and engagement programs, I'm not seeing this specific point being addressed. We are setting up a nurture with nested programs. I plan to use and sync each program with a SFDC campaign. Should I also create an overarching SFDC campaign for the entire engagement program? We already have some issues with the amount of room SFDC campaign membership takes up, so if there's no benefit to creating the overall SFDC campaign, I'll likely skip it.
You could use a naming convention to tie the campaigns together. But best practice in our company IS to create a parent campaign and tie the campaigns to the parent.
